En Cutral Co se realizó el primer taller de igualdad de género

Forma parte del fortalecimiento institucional.

Mediante el convenio de colaboración suscripto entre el municipio y la Fundación de Estudios Confluir en la Ciudad, la secretaría de la Mujer y Diversidad llevó adelante hoy el taller “Abordaje de las violencias de género”.

Se trata de la primera capacitación del programa anual de Fortalecimiento Institucional que tiene por objeto desarrollar actividades que contribuyan a la equidad, especialmente en temas vinculados a la erradicación de la violencia de género.

La responsable del área, Carolina Alarcón, remarcó que este tipo de seminarios son “una herramienta fundamental para nuestras mujeres que aquí trabajan, desde el personal de maestranza hasta mesa de entradas, pasando por el equipo de psicólogas y psicólogas sociales, las operadoras en violencia, el sector de Diversidad, el área de Migraciones y la directora del refugio Casa Integral Ángel Sin Alas”.

“El objetivo es fortalecer estos equipos, tener las herramientas para poder abordar los temas que permanentemente surgen en nuestra comunidad. En esta oficina las demandas son muchísimas y todo el trabajo que aquí se hace no es fácil. La violencia es una problemática social muy delicada y vemos que hay una franja de la sociedad más vulnerada por la que el Estado debe responder”, argumentó.

Por su parte, Mercedes Lamarca -titular de la fundación- explicó que “es una capacitación que tiene tres ítems fundamentales; uno que tiene que ver con la violencia de género; otro sobre los cuidados y el rol históricamente asignado a las mujeres; y el restante que tiene que ver con ciudades con perspectiva de género”.

En el mismo sentido detalló que cada uno de éstos tópicos se divide en dos jornadas por lo que el programa consta de seis encuentros de dos horas de duración. Por último resaltó la “necesidad absoluta” de políticas públicas con perspectiva de género y celebró la decisión de la Municipalidad de hacer punta en la provincia a la hora de desarrollar este tipo de herramientas concretas para su personal.
