La mayoría de los partidos del bloque mayor se vieron suspendidos por las inclemencias climáticas. Uno de los pocos partidos que se jugaron fueron los que se disputaron en Cutral Co, Rivadavia fue local frente a Los Canales donde Reserva gritó campeón luego de un partidazo y Primera empató 2 a 2.
El partido de reserva estuvo marcado por el nerviosismo y el constante cambio de emociones. Rivadavia comenzaba ganando el encuentro por 1 a 0 pero su rival respondía marcando tres goles que lo ponían por delante y encaminado al título.
El Tigre lo remaba desde atrás y no perdía la ilusión de ser campeón. Logró descontar y empatar el marcador para que a pocos minutos de final lograra marcar el gol que le daba el campeonato nuevamente en la categoría.
Luego de todos los festejos, comenzó el partido de primera. El comienzo del partido fue cortado y con muchas imprecisiones por parte de ambos equipos. Rivadavia no lograba jugar como lo tiene acostumbrado pero con un error en la defensa de Los Canales encontró el primer gol en los pies de Matias San Martín.
El segundo tiempo tuvo a Los Canales decidido a ganar desde el primer momento. En los primeros minutos tuvo varias llegadas con peligro al arco local y en una de esas ocasiones encontró el empate. Rivadavia no entraba muy concentrado en el segundo tiempo y sufría, sin embargo el partido cambiaba nuevamente y con una buena conexión por la derecha, San Martín marcaba su doblete en el partido para poner en ventaja nuevamente al Tigre.
Los Canales se iba a quedar con un jugador menos por la expulsión de su volante por izquierda luego de que golpeara a un jugador de Rivadavia. El partido estuvo demorado unos minutos y cuando se reanudó la visita logró empatar el encuentro nuevamente para poner el resultado final al encuentro por 2 a 2.
