Volvían a la comarca durante el fin de semana largo cuando se accidentaron en Ruta 60. Afortunadamente recibieron solo heridas leves.
Ocurrió en la noche del lunes en cercanías de la cordillera, sobre Ruta Provincial 60 de Chile, pero en un tramo sin asfaltar. La conductora del Volkswagen Gol Trend habría perdido el control del vehículo, cruzó de carril y volcó hacia la banquina originando lesiones a ella y el resto de los ocupantes de 50, 16, 13, 10 y 2 años –todos ellos de Plaza Huincul-, aunque ninguno de carácter grave.
Todos recibieron atención médica y posteriormente fueron dados de alta para regresar al país.
